SPA TERMS & CONDITIONS

Please review these Terms & Conditions before completing your booking. By submitting a booking and payment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

1. Appointments & Deposits

We recommend booking in advance. Walk-ins are welcome and are accommodated based on availability.

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments, including
  • individual and group bookings.
  • Full payment may also be made at the time of booking.
  • Your deposit secures the specific service, appointment time, number of guests, and location selected at the time of booking.
  • The remaining balance is due according to the payment instructions provided at the time of booking.

2. Service Changes & Downgrades

  • Guests may add services or increase the value of their booking, subject to availability.
  • Services can only be downgraded to a lower-value service when booked in-spa with provided advance notice of change.
  • NOT APPLICABLE TO MOBILE BOOKING. If no notice of change is given within the hours allocated for rescheduling services, then the client will commit to their original booking.
  • This policy applies whether the request is made before the appointment, upon arrival at
  • the spa, or after a mobile therapist has arrived at the service location.
  • Guests who are uncertain about which service to select are encouraged to contact us before completing their booking.

3. Mobile Spa Services

  • Individual mobile service bookings have a minimum value of $100.00 USD per person.
  • The $100.00 USD per-person minimum does not apply to group mobile bookings.
  • Group mobile bookings are subject to their applicable group pricing and terms.
  • An individual mobile booking cannot be changed in a manner that reduces the service value below the $100.00 USD per-person minimum.
  • Once the therapist has arrived at the agreed location, the booking cannot be reduced or downgraded
  • Mobile services attract a 35% service charge on listed menu prices for locations within Beale’s Spa’s standard operating zone.
  • Locations outside the standard operating zone, including properties requiring additional travel time or accessibility considerations, may attract an additional
  • travel charge, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
  • Partner properties may have different pricing based on their individual arrangements with Beale’s Spa.
  • The applicable price will be confirmed at the time of booking

 

Mobile Service Wait Time

  • Clients are expected to be ready to receive their scheduled service at the confirmed appointment time.
  • If the therapist is required to wait because the client or service location is not ready, a
  • $40.00 USD wait-time fee will apply for each 30-minute period of waiting.
  • Wait time begins at the scheduled appointment time.
  • Wait-time charges are in addition to the booked service and must be paid by the client.
  • The wait-time fee does not apply when the delay is caused by the spa or therapist.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Individual Mobile Services

  • Individual mobile appointments may be cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled treatment time.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will result in forfeiture of

Group Bookings

  • Group bookings require at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel.
  • Same-day rescheduling requests must be made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time and are subject to availability.
  • Cancellations made within the 48-hour period will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

5. In-House Spa Arrival

  • In-house spa guests are asked to arrive 15 minutes before their scheduled service.
  • This time allows guests to complete any required disclaimers, review spa rules, and prepare for their treatment.
  • Late arrival may result in reduced treatment time, as we may not be able to extend the appointment without affecting other guests.
  • Arrivals more than 20 minutes late without prior notice may be considered a cancellation and may result in forfeiture of the deposit or an applicable late fee.

6. Payments & Refunds

  • We accept the payment methods made available at the time of booking.
  • Where a refund is approved under these Terms & Conditions, it will be issued in the same manner in which the original payment was received, where reasonably possible.

7. Respectful Conduct

  • We are committed to providing a professional, peaceful, and relaxing environment.
  • Guests are expected to treat our staff, therapists, and other guests with kindness and respect.
  • We reserve the right to discontinue a service or appointment if a guest engages in abusive, threatening, harassing, unsafe, or otherwise inappropriate behavior.

8. Health & Safety

  • Guests should inform us before their service of any allergies, sensitivities, injuries, or other information that may be relevant to safely providing the service.
  • Guests are responsible for providing accurate information that may affect their ability to safely receive a service.
  • We maintain appropriate hygiene and safety practices and may modify or decline a service
  • when reasonably necessary for the health or safety of the guest, therapist, or staff.

9. Disclaimers & Spa Rules

  • Guests may be required to complete applicable disclaimers, waivers, intake forms, or other service-related documents before receiving treatment.
  • Guests are expected to review and follow all applicable spa rules and instructions provided by the spa or therapist.

10. Privacy

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version applicable to a

booking will be the version presented to the guest at the time the booking is made, subject to applicable law.

12. Guest Acknowledgment

By checking the agreement box and continuing to pay, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Spa Terms & Conditions.

BOOKING NOTICE

Please note before completing your payment:

We offer the first and only flotation tank in Jamaica. Let us guide you into a beautiful state of hypnagogia with this calming, water-balancing treatment.

Float effortlessly in a specially designed sensory-deprivation tank filled with warm water that’s steeped in Epsom salt. Enjoy the gentle music piped into the softly lit tank and drift into a peaceful state between sleep and wakefulness.
Flotation therapy has multiple benefits, including: stress, anxiety and pain reduction, muscle and inflammation recovery, relaxation and improved sleep, as well as mood improvement as the mind-body connection is strengthened.

Paired with a body scrub or massage, an invigorating yet tranquil therapy awaits.

Eco Therapy.

Offered at the renowned Nanny Falls in picturesque and historical Moore Town.

Nestled between Portland Jamaica’s Blue Mountains and John Crow Mountains, this settlement is home to descendants of Maroons – independent communities of former runaway slaves. It is inscribed in UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.  

Guests have the option of pairing their treatment with a guided tour, led by a local tour guide, or they may go straight to the Falls to enjoy this therapeutic experience.

Please note: This is a beautiful nature spot that’s shared by the community, so this is not a private experience, but we tend to choose less-active days in the week.

The Maroon Mmuo (Spirit) ritual

Offered at Errol Flynn Marina and Norse Hill Estate

Our “Essence of the Maroon” ritual is steeped in Jamaican history and healing traditions. It features our headwrap that uses Jamaican herbal leaves (pimento, soursop, coffee, eucalyptus and star anise), and a facial pressure point massage. It induces a sensation of wellbeing as it boosts mental clarity, reduces stress, eases migraines, and promotes spiritual balancing, while the accompanying body massage is soothing, yet stimulating.

Your head is wrapped with herbs in a gauze cloth before you lie on the massage bed. Inhale a  customized oil to take you on your personal  journey to wellbeing.

During the body massage, a prayer stone is placed on the sacral and pelvic areas and you are massaged with  turmeric and pimento oilThe final step in the ritual is a facial pressure point massage and you end with an energy-boosting coffee berry mist.
